Venna Melinda was enjoying a New Year's holiday with her youngest daughter, Vania, in Bali when the sad news came. She received an unexpected phone call from someone informing her of her father's critical condition in Jakarta.

Initially, Venna could not believe it and thought it was a prank or a scam by someone messing around. After all, the last time they met, her father was in good health when they celebrated her mother's birthday with great joy.

"I said, who is this? I just stayed silent because I knew my dad couldn't possibly be sick, because the last time we met at Mom's birthday, he was healthy, still singing," recalled Venna with swollen eyes at TPU Jeruk Purut.

However, panic struck when the caller assured that her father was unconscious and his pulse was very weak. Venna cried hysterically on the beach, confused about what to do amidst the distance that separated them.

"Then finally... Aunt called, 'Just pray, Venna, it seems his pulse is weak.' That's it... I don't know, I was already crying on the beach," she recounted the heartbreaking moment.

Venna's struggle to return to Jakarta was not easy. In the midst of a busy holiday season, she had to find a flight ticket as quickly as possible to see her father's face for the last time.

Fortunately, there was a miracle that made it easier for her to get a morning flight ticket. Venna felt that God had made her path easier so that she could arrive in Jakarta on time.

She went straight to the funeral home and accompanied the funeral procession of her father. Vania's presence by her side was a source of strength for Venna, who looked very devastated.
