Initial Mission of Lucky Hakim as Vice Regent of Indramayu, Acquisition of Hundreds of Hectares of Government-Owned Land

Kapanlagi.com - Not long ago, Lucky Hakim was officially inaugurated as the Vice Regent of Indramayu. The soap opera artist and former member of the Indonesian House of Representatives for the period 2014-2019 expressed optimism about the 10 programs he announced in order to save thousands of hectares of assets in Indramayu Regency that are currently controlled by other parties. He targets that his program will succeed within 100 working days.

Last Wednesday (10/3), Lucky directly inspected the location in the Kroya District, Indramayu Regency. He asked the local village heads through the District Head to create a chronology of events over the past decades regarding the control of these assets to be immediately followed up as a serious step to support the Regional Asset Tracking program.

"According to the instructions of the Regent, I will coordinate with the team for this matter to be immediately followed up," said the father of one child.

"We can directly check the location of the complaints from residents in the Kroya District. If there are assets owned by the Village Government or the region that are currently controlled by other parties," continued Lucky.

He found at least 600 hectares of land out of an estimated 2000 hectares of regional government assets that need to be saved when conducting inspections in the sub-district.

The program implemented by Lucky may not directly impact the increase in Regional Original Revenue (PAD). But at least, some regional government assets that can be saved can be used for infrastructure development and community empowerment in the village.

"If we have found 600 hectares, and if the community rents one hectare for Rp 2 million, it is quite substantial and that is the potential that we will explore. I am confident that there are at least 2000 hectares of regional government land that we must track and return to the regional government as assets that we will utilize for the benefit of the people," explained Lucky.
