Legendary musician Dhani Ahmad Prasetyo, better known as Ahmad Dhani, has just experienced an unpleasant event. His personal Instagram account suddenly disappeared, which is strongly suspected to be due to mass reporting actions by certain parties.

The man who is now active as a politician responded casually to the loss of his social media account while chuckling lightly. He feels that there are individuals who deliberately took this action because they feel threatened by the existence of his account.

"Yes, there are... there are people who are scared," said Ahmad Dhani when met by KapanLagi in the Pondok Indah area, South Jakarta, on Sunday (03/05/2026).

The leader of the band Dewa 19 suspects that the disappearance of the account is closely related to various facts that he often uploads on social media. When asked if the content he shared was the main reason his account was reported, he gave a brief answer.

"Maybe so," said the husband of Mulan Jameela as he walked towards the exit of his residence.

Ahmad Dhani also emphasized that the disappearance of the account is purely due to external factors and not because of his personal desire to delete the account. He dismissed public assumptions that he is trying to create a sensation amidst his busy schedule.

"Why would I create drama like that?" he said with a smile in response to a journalist's question about the possibility of deactivating his own account.

Although he appears calm, this 54-year-old man still feels disappointed with the social media platform's policy that can remove someone's account without a strong basis. Currently, he is making communication efforts with the relevant parties regarding the loss of access.

"Of course, I am also coordinating why Instagram can just arbitrarily... remove someone's Instagram," added the musician from Surabaya with a tone of surprise.

Until now, the public is still waiting to see if the account with millions of followers can recover. Ahmad Dhani himself admitted that the fate of his account cannot be confirmed, considering all his posts and follower list have vanished instantly.
