Sada Takes 2nd Place in National Ice Skating Championship, Fitri Tropica Was Quite Worried

A proud achievement has just been attained by Sada Amina Hanara, the daughter of Fitri Tropica. The 6-year-old girl has just won 2nd place in the National Ice Skating Championship recently held in Jakarta.

For her achievement, Sada received a silver medal, which is her first medal at the national championship. Fitri Tropica is incredibly proud of her eldest daughter.

"This is one of the highlights of 2026 that is truly beyond expectations. From the beginning, when Sada was offered to participate in the national championship and to be a part of @fisibanten, I was already proud and very touched. From the start, all the coaches said that this national championship was just for Sada to gain experience, because the competition is quite numerous and tough at this national level," Fitri said in her Instagram post.

Fitri admitted that she didn't expect her eldest child's participation in the National Ice Skating Championship to achieve such extraordinary results. Sada was able to defeat other participants from all over Indonesia and won a silver medal.

"This is a new chapter that honestly I never imagined at all for Sada's mother, who is really not athletic at all. 'Sada, are you participating in the National Championship?' Huh? Honestly, I never expected it to get this serious. At first, I just wanted to support my child's hobby as much as possible, but it turns out Allah brought us to the point where Sada could be part of the team representing Banten, competing alongside other athletes against participants from all over Indonesia," Fitri expressed in her Instagram post.

Fitri was also worried that her daughter would be disappointed if she didn't succeed in this National Championship. "Honestly, because I know this competition is quite tough, plus Sada put in that much effort training for this championship, I was also worried that Sada would be disappointed if the results didn't meet expectations. 'Sister, if you don't win later, do you still want to ice skate?' 'It's okay. If I don't win, I want to train even harder!'" she revealed.

However, Sada's struggle turned out to be fruitful. The cries and tears of Sada during her training were all worth it with the silver medal she brought home representing Banten Province.

"My dear @sada_aminahanara, before you stood on that podium, Mama knew you had already become a champion for Mama. Watching your struggles, falling and crying while sliding on the ice, I know you’ve already given your best effort. And that’s what matters. For a mother who has only ever been on the podium as a fun player champion at the sub-district level, seeing you stand on the national podium makes my heart swell with emotion," wrote Fitrop.
