El Rumi Jalani Siraman Adat Jawa, Ahmad Dhani: He Is Very Mature Now

Ahmad Dhani's second son, Ahmad Dhani, El Rumi, has just completed one of the series of ceremonies leading up to his wedding day held in the Dharmawangsa area, South Jakarta, on Friday (24/4/2026). The siraman event was conducted with a strong emphasis on Javanese cultural traditions and attended by the entire extended family.
 
Ahmad Dhani expressed his gratitude for the smoothness of the ceremony. He mentioned that the atmosphere in the room felt very calm and filled with a sense of family during the process.

"Yes, the event went successfully. Yes, it was a service, a service," said Ahmad Dhani when met in the Dharmawangsa area, South Jakarta, on Friday (24/05/2026).

Dhani explained that choosing the theme of Javanese customs for this siraman event is a necessity. For him, the siraman ceremony cannot be separated from the Javanese cultural roots that they have upheld all this time.

"The theme is... there is none. Javanese customs, Javanese customs. Siraman is Javanese. There is nothing but siraman for Javanese, siraman is Javanese," he said.

As the happy day approaches, which is just a few days away, Dhani praised El Rumi's mental readiness. He sees that his son is very ready to take on the new responsibility as a husband.

Dhani believes that El is very mature to marry Syifa. "Very mature. Don't forget to watch the emotional moments on SCTV," he said.

Although the event felt emotional, Dhani admitted that he did not give long advice to his son. He feels El is mature enough to understand the steps he will take.

Unlike Maia who gave a message to El, Dhani chose not to give one to his second son. "No advice given," he concluded.
