King Faaz's Name Used in Divorce Hoax of Fairuz and Sonny Septian

The spread of false news regarding the divorce of Fairuz A Rafiq and Sonny Septian is considered to have crossed the line of reasonableness. Not only does it slander the husband-and-wife relationship, but the perpetrators of this hoax have even dragged the name of their eldest child, King Faaz. The narrative created implies that the child has willingly accepted the loss of his father figure for the second time.

This has triggered anger from the family as it is believed to severely hurt the psychological well-being of their underage children. Minola Sebayang, Fairuz's lawyer, stated that the perpetrators were very intent on crafting this false content. They used the names of other big artists to make the news appear real and trustworthy.

"King Faaz said he is ready and willing to accept losing his father figure for the second time. So they used his name! This is truly extraordinary," said Minola Sebayang when met by KapanLagi at his office in the Kuningan area, South Jakarta, Thursday (16/4/2026).

Minola found that these contents used old video clips of Fairuz crying in past court sessions. These images were combined with misleading new narratives, making it easy for the general public to believe. In fact, there are several accounts that inserted the faces of other artist colleagues to strengthen the dramatic impression.

"Because it was made to be convincing here, like there was an interview, Irfan Hakim expressed his regret, right? There’s a photo of Irfan Hakim too, right, very regrettable that they ended up divorcing like that. That was really intentional, Bang!" Minola expressed angrily.

This hoax structure looks very neat and massive, as if there is a third party coordinating the movement. Minola suspects that there are individuals who do not like the happiness and affection that Fairuz and Sonny Septian have displayed so far. His side is currently tracking the identities of the owners of those accounts.

"Moreover, this takes several snippets of images, videos, which are activities of Fairuz, from several momentum activities including from some cases that Fairuz had previously gone through in the South Jakarta District Court some time ago," he explained.

The psychological issues of children have become the main concern for the family in this case. In today's digital era, children can easily access information through their own devices. Fairuz and Sonny are very worried about the long-term impact if their children read hateful comments or fake news about their parents.

"There are no children who do not have a mobile phone, there are no children who do not own a mobile phone, everyone has a mobile phone, all gadgets. This is what needs to be anticipated," said Minola, emphasizing the importance of protecting the mental health of his clients' children.

Until now, Fairuz and Sonny are still waiting for the goodwill of the perpetrators to delete the content and apologize publicly. If there is no change within three days, the legal team will immediately discuss filing an official report to the authorities.
