Nikita Mirzani, along with Dr. Oky Pratama and Doktif (Detective Doctor), underwent an examination at the Metro Jaya Police regarding a report by Dr. Reza Gladys concerning alleged extortion, on Thursday (6/2/2025).
This examination lasted for approximately 12 hours, with a total of 58 questions posed by the investigators. The three were examined alternately as witnesses. Read more about it below!
In this case, Nikita chose to follow the applicable legal procedures. However, she emphasized that she would file a counter-report if proven innocent of the allegations made against her.
"Just let this process run for now, until there is proof. If asked whether this is unproven, I will definitely report back. No need to ask that," said Nikita Mirzani at the Metro Jaya Police, Thursday (7/2/2025).
Nikita also questioned the basis of the report made by Reza Gladys. She likened her situation to someone who receives money, then suddenly gets accused of being a thief.
"As for me, I just want to say this. Let's say you guys are called by me. Hey, come here, do you want some money? After you take the money, you get shouted at as a thief. Something like that," she explained.
Furthermore, Nikita challenged Reza Gladys to openly name her as the party who committed extortion. She wants to ensure whether the reporter truly claims to be a victim of extortion by her.
"Who is being extorted? Did he say he was being extorted? Did he say he was being extorted from his own mouth? No, did he? Try to get him to say, 'Nikita Mirzani is extorting', like that," he challenged.
Meanwhile, Nikita's lawyer, Fahmi Bachmid, emphasized that the extortion allegations lack strong legal elements. He explained that it was actually the reporter who asked for help and was trying to find a way to meet with his client.
"Extortion has its elements and threats. How can someone come out of nowhere, call someone, and ask for help to meet?" said Fahmi Bachmid.
