Involved in 'Mau Gak Mau Season 2' Najwa Shihab, Lukman Sardi, Raisa Acting in Audio Form

Kapanlagi.com - The Rapot Podcast consists of Reza Chandika, Ankatama, Radhini, and Nastasha Abigail, who are back with a cinematic audio series in the month of Ramadan titled Want it or not season 2. Of course, the presentation will be different and feel more special than last year.

"So last year, Rapot created a work called Want it or not, there were 30 episodes about friendship. Well, this year we meet again, Want it or not season 2," said Reza Chandika in a virtual press conference on Tuesday (30/3/2021).

"So Want it or not season 2, we are present in the month of Ramadan again. If asked what it is, we call it a cinematic audio series. So, it's like watching a movie but without visuals, just audio," continued Radhini.

1. More Special

This year, Rapot is doing a more special experiment. Because, whether we like it or not, Season 2 presents with a more explorative sound that collaborates with a number of collaborators with backgrounds in the creative arts industry from different industries. By carrying the concept of four directors, four illustrators, four genres, and four main cast members.

"The story is still about friendship but this time it's more about our adventure as a group of four to complete missions. So it will be presented in four different story genres. There's nostalgia, kingdom, a bit thrilling and suspenseful, and finally a fantasy world, a world of deception," said Ankatama.

2. Featuring Actors and Singers

What's even more interesting, Season 2 of whether we like it or not is also enlivened by famous actors and singers, such as Raisa, Yura Yunita, Najwa Shihab, Lukman Sardi, Abimana Aryasatya, Afgan, Kunto Aji, Sivia Azizah, Ardhito Pramono, and many others.

"Yes, we worked with great people who gave their time for us. There are many actors who are actually film actors, now doing voice acting," said Reza Chandika.

From the list of guest stars involved in Season 2 of whether we like it or not, there is one name that stands out, namely Najwa Shihab. In Season 2 of whether we like it or not, Najwa Shihab plays the role of a teacher.

3. Najwa Shihab Character

Apparently, Najwa Shihab's presence in Mau Gak Mau season 2 originated from the desire of one of the Rapot members, namely Reza Chandika. He wanted the character of a teacher in the Mau Gak Mau story to be played by the host of Mata Najwa.

"My personal experience that I will never forget, I wanted to have a role as a teacher, namely Najwa Shihab. At first, I casually messaged her, and she immediately replied 'okay, I want to participate'. Wow, I didn't expect this at all," said Reza Chandika.

Mau Gak Mau season 2 will be available on the Spotify application. The premiere of Mau Gak Mau season 2 will be on the first day of Ramadan (April 13, 2021) with a total of 13 episodes released every week.
