Program 'Satu Indonesia Buka Bersama' NET TV Breaks MURI Record

Kapanlagi.com - Last Ramadan, Net TV through its Youtube channel aired a program titled Satu Indonesia Buka Bersama (One Indonesia Breaking the Fast Together), a collaboration with XL Axiata and Google. And believe it or not, the program successfully broke the MURI (Indonesian Record Museum) record in the category of 'Online Ngabuburit Event with the Most Viewers in Indonesia'.

Satu Indonesia Buka Bersama was simultaneously aired on several Youtube channels, namely Netmediatama, Ini Talkshow, and Tonight Show. The total views collected were 281,091 viewers.

The award presentation was symbolically conducted on the Tonight Show program on June 9, 2020. NET CEO, Mr. Deddy H. Sudarjianto, and CEO of PT. XL Axiata, Ms. Dian Siswarini, received the award via Skype. The award presentation moment was also witnessed by Ajay Vidyasagar, Regional Director of Asia Pacific YouTube.

"In times of crisis like this, there are challenges and opportunities, so there are technological and social innovations. If 280,000 people gather physically for ngabuburit, it would require 3 football stadiums. But with media technology platforms, we can all be together online," said Deddy when asked for his response by the duo hosts, Vincent and Desta.

On the same occasion, Ajay Vidyasagar, YouTube's Regional Director for Asia Pacific, congratulated NET TV and XL Axiata for their initiative to celebrate Ramadan differently this year.

Satu Indonesia Buka Bersama (One Indonesia Iftar Together), which was held on May 15th, was streamed for 90 minutes and was lively, hosted by 4 Tonight Show hosts, Vincent Rompies, Desta Mahendra, Hesti Purwadinata, and Enzy Storia. Throughout the event, a number of Indonesian artists and YouTubers participated, including Sabyan, Nagita Slavina, Cameo Project, Baim Paula, EdhoZell, Arief Muhammad, MGDALENAF, Tanboy Kun, Nex Carlos, Gerry Girianza, Gita Savitri, and many others.

In addition to music performances, Satu Indonesia Buka Bersama also featured inspiring discussions about social activities and fundraising actively carried out by artists and YouTubers for COVID-19 affected victims. Not to forget, the iftar event was then concluded with a joint prayer that was attended by the Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia, Prof.Dr.K.H. Ma'ruf Amin.
