Issue of Sale and Purchase Agreement of YouTube Channel, Syakir Daulay Sues ProAktif Label and YouTube Indonesia

Kapanlagi.com - Young singer Syakir Daulay officially sues music label ProAktif. The lawsuit has been registered at the South Jakarta District Court on July 9, 2020. In the lawsuit, Syakir includes the name of Agi Sugiyanto as the representative of ProAktif.

"Syakir and I will provide updates on our legal efforts or legal processes that we will go through. So two days ago, we registered the lawsuit at the South Jakarta District Court with case number 518 perdata PN Jaksel," said Syakir Daulay's lawyer, Haris Azhar, at the Amarossa Hotel, South Jakarta, on Saturday (11/7).

"We are suing Mr. Sugiyanto and the defendant is the Google service provider, especially YouTube Indonesia," he continued.

In the lawsuit, Syakir Daulay discusses the sale and purchase agreement of his YouTube channel to ProAktif. In the agreement, Syakir believes there are many irregularities.

"This lawsuit is related to the purchase agreement of Syakir Daulay's YouTube channel by Sugiyanto. The basis of the lawsuit includes several factors and we will also mention the losses suffered by Syakir," said Haris Azhar.

2. Fraud in the Agreement

It doesn't stop there, Haris Azhar also mentioned that there are many frauds that occurred. As a result, his client suffered significant losses.

"We refer to them as legal facts, first regarding dishonest acts during the process, and we consider the agreement to be fraudulent because it contains several elements that do not meet the requirements as stated in the agreement," he concluded.
