Through a collaboration with Vibe, an authentic Indonesian beverage product sold among certain circles, Ivan Gunawan, who is used to designing on fabric, has now released his designs on glass bottles. This was revealed by Ivan Gunawan at the launch event for the Superstar Collection bottle design, Vibe X Ivan Gunawan.

"As a designer, I feel that the opportunity to collaborate with any brand is growing, including a collaboration with Vibe, an Indonesian alcoholic beverage brand. Here, I see that the entertainment world has become a trend among certain circles. And a beverage brand can become more interesting if its bottle has a unique shape. This is where the collaboration between Vibe and Ivan Gunawan began," said Igun on Saturday, June 18, 2022.

1. Luxurious yet Futuristic Design

Vibe is a local drink product that will be marketed abroad. The quality of the drink presented is not inferior to foreign products. According to Damien E. Chua, Marketing Director of Vibe, the collaboration between Vibe and Ivan Gunawan is not just an ordinary collaboration. Because through Ivan's hands, Vibe now comes with a bottle design that can be a characteristic of Indonesia.

"The design concept is made luxurious but futuristic. Because in my opinion, the design must symbolize the characteristics of Indonesia, so there is a batik pattern on the bottle and label. Because in the future this product will be exported abroad," said Damien.

2. Inspired by Art Deco Buildings in America

In addition to the batik pattern, the luxurious impression of the Vibe bottle is also obtained from its shape. When designing, Ivan admitted to being inspired by the art deco style.

"For the bottle shape, I was inspired by art deco buildings in America in the 1930s. This shape, in my opinion, is unique, attractive, and has a luxurious impression that will make people love it. So, we can create a collection of bottles that we are proud of," continued Igun.
