To Boy William, Ivan Gunawan admitted that he had used drugs. Ivan revealed this when he played the game '5 Minutes Only' with Boy.

"Your parents don't know that you have used drugs?" Boy William asked. Igun didn't immediately answer the question. He remained silent for a moment.

Afterwards, Igun opened up and admitted that he had used drugs. "I think my parents know everything. I used drugs before, but they also knew," said Ivan Gunawan while laughing.

He was indeed involved in a drug abuse case in 2019, following the arrest of his assistant, Andre Jordan Alatas.

Andre is proven to have cocaine and ecstasy drugs. The aftermath of the arrest led to Igun being called and questioned. Investigators also asked Igun to undergo a urine test and the result was negative for drugs.

Because of the case, he immediately fired Andre. Igun has never used those illegal substances again until now.
