Iyut Bing Slamet Arrested by Police for Drugs for the Second Time

Kapanlagi.com - The police have once again arrested a public figure for drug abuse. It is senior artist Iyut Bing Slamet who was arrested at his home on Thursday (3/12) night.

"The Narcotics Detective Unit arrested an individual with the initials IBS (Iyut Bing Slamet) for drug abuse. The person claimed to be a former child artist," said the Head of the Narcotics Detective Unit of the South Jakarta Metro Police, Commissioner Wadi Sabeni, when contacted on Friday (4/12/2020).

1. Evidence

From the arrest, the police successfully seized evidence of methamphetamine. Adi Bing Slamet's younger brother was arrested at his home in the Kramat Sentiong area, Johar, Central Jakarta.

"During the arrest, we seized evidence in the form of drug paraphernalia and a paperclip suspected to contain methamphetamine," he said.

2. Positive for Meth

After conducting a urine test, the results are out and Iyut Bing Slamet is confirmed positive for consuming methamphetamine. "We are still conducting further investigation and deepening the arrest," Wadi Sabeni concluded.

Previously in 2011, Iyut also had a run-in with the police due to drugs. This means he has been involved with this illegal substance twice.
