Famous designer Dian Pelangi panicked because she suffers from thalassophobia, a fear of the sea. “I only thought that the water would recede by noon like before. So I didn't think about moving things to the second floor. I didn't think about evacuating either, so we just stayed on the second floor,” she complained on Instagram Stories, Sunday (21/2/2021).
Irish Bella uploaded a video of her house being flooded on her personal Instagram account, Saturday (20/2/2021). “Oh God, it's so sad. It's the first time my house has been flooded like this. Hopefully it will recede quickly, amen,” she exclaimed.
Despite the flood, Nicky Tirta seems to be enjoying the view of the water flooding his house while sipping a cup of coffee. “Woohooww! I have been living here for more than 20 years, and this is only the second time my house has been flooded: January 1, 2020, and now. Let's just enjoy it.. while drinking coffee,” he said.
