Talking on the Pagi Pagi Ambyar program, Jefri Nichol mentioned that his father used to have a gold shop. Unfortunately, the gold shop was burglarized.
"At that time, my dad had a gold shop, and the safe was completely burglarized. That's why he went bankrupt," said Jefri Nichol.
He mentioned that when his family went bankrupt, they had to borrow money here and there to survive. However, some debts were not settled and even Nichol's family had to deal with debt collectors.
"At that time, my parents went bankrupt, there were loans here and there," he revealed.
Even at that time, he had to face debt collectors who came to the house to collect debts, even though he was alone at that time.
"When I was alone at home, debt collectors came. They knocked on the door, 'Nichol, we know you're inside.' Then they turned off the lights, even though I was working on my laptop and couldn't do anything," said Jefri Nichol.
Luckily, Nichol's economy and his family have now improved. He even helps his family's economy by diving into the entertainment world and succeeding as a film star.
