Jennifer Coppen recently revealed the reason why she is not fasting during Ramadan. In a live broadcast on TikTok on Monday (17/3/2025), she explained that her condition does not allow her to fast due to experiencing GERD anxiety.
According to Jennifer, the doctor also did not permit her to fast as it could have a negative impact on her health. Here are some statements from Kamari's mother regarding her illness!
"I'm not fasting because I'm sick. I have GERD anxiety, guys. This is the last time I'm telling you," said Jennifer in her live broadcast.
Jennifer then also advised people to take good care of their mental and physical health
Jennifer explained that GERD anxiety makes it impossible for her to eat late. If she is even a little late for a meal, her body immediately responds with a very severe discomfort, even feeling like she is dying.
"I haven't been allowed to fast by the doctor because if I'm even a little late for a meal, I feel like I'm about to die," she revealed. This means she has to really maintain her eating patterns to keep her condition stable.
In addition, Jennifer also shared that she always carries an oxygen level monitor to check her heart rate when her anxiety condition flares up. According to her, this device helps her ensure that she is still in a safe condition during anxiety attacks
"I have severe anxiety to the point that I have an oxygen meter to check my heart rate. Sometimes when it flares up badly, I have to check it," she said.Â
