Jennifer Jill Praises Ajun Perwira After Adopting a Baby Girl, Expert in Carrying and Changing Diapers

"The baby is 6 months old, it's really exciting. I enjoy watching Ajun, I've taken care of 4 kids, have my own child. Seeing him is exciting like that," said Jennifer Jill in Antasari, South Jakarta, Saturday (24/5/2025).

The fatigue that accompanies her days as a foster mother is still felt. However, Jennifer does not see it as a burden and continues to enjoy the process she is going through.

"Exciting, exciting. If you say I'm tired meeting the baby, the fatigue disappears, no. I'm still tired, my fatigue doesn't go away. There's no fatigue disappearing," Jennifer Jill added.

2. Husband Quickly Adapts to Parenting

Ajun Perwira's attention to the little one has caught Jennifer's interest. She didn't expect her husband to adapt so quickly to parenting, including in technical matters like changing diapers.

"He (Ajun) is great, he can carry, put to sleep, and even change diapers. He feels shy because the baby is a girl," said Jennifer.

3. Jennifer and Ajun's Household is Becoming More Colorful

The arrival of this baby girl has also brought a new color to Jennifer and Ajun's marriage. She describes their daily life as a couple as still dynamic, complete with ups and downs.

"It's not just happy; sometimes there are arguments and laughter, all in balance. I just enjoy it, there are pluses and minuses," said Jennifer.

4. Allow the Biological Mother to Visit

Interestingly, Jennifer continues to open the door for the biological mother of the baby to be present in the child's life. In fact, she entrusts the care of the little one when she has to travel.

"I called her to come to the house to take care of the baby and they met. Even though I have a babysitter, I offered her to come to the house to see the baby. Yes, she wanted to come to the house to take care of her child for 10 days," said Jennifer Jill.

Jennifer Jill married Ajun Perwira on April 22, 2019. At that time, Jill was around 48 years old, while Ajun was 31 years old. The age difference between them is 17 years.

Religious differences also emerged: Jill is Catholic, Ajun is Hindu. Approval from Ajun's mother was delayed for up to a month after the wedding. Jill's children, including her youngest son who was only 8 years old at the time, initially rejected Ajun's presence in the house and even tried to expel him, asking Jill to marry quickly if she was serious. However, over time, the family accepted Ajun, and their relationship has become increasingly harmonious until now.
