Jessica Iskandar Says There Are Many Advertising Offers for El Barack, But Still Prioritizes School

Jessica Iskandar shared an interesting story about her child, El Barack Alexander, who is beginning to show signs of independence from a young age. In addition to being known for his activity in the entertainment world, El is also starting to learn about the value of money and managing income wisely.

Jessica revealed that although El receives many offers, both for filming and advertisements, she still limits her child's activities. The main focus for Jessica and her husband, Vincent, is education. Read more below!

"For me and Vincent, the focus is on school first; when it comes to filming, we still prioritize school," said Jessica when met in the Dharmawangsa area, South Jakarta, on Tuesday (18/2/2025).

Not only involved in shooting, El Barack also often appears in advertisements for several brands that frequently appear on Instagram.   "Sometimes he is in brand advertisements on Instagram," he said.

El Barack has also started to show signs of independence, one of which is in terms of saving. Jessica shared that El usually saves money in his mother's room, in a small box, not in a piggy bank like most children do.   "I know, because he saves it in my room," Jessica explained.

Even though the money he saves mostly consists of coins, El still considers it important to set aside some of his earnings.   "Before it was in the wallet, maybe because there were a lot of coins, the money ended up in the box," Jessica said.

It is not uncommon for El to also use the money he saves to help his family. Jessica recounts an incident where El offered to buy something for his family.   "It's usually something like that for him or his family," Jessica revealed.

One time, while shopping at the mall with Jessica and Don, El offered to buy a toy for himself.   "Suddenly El Barack said, 'It's okay mom, I'll just buy it with my own money,'" Jessica said.

Although he has started to show signs of independence, Jessica continues to closely monitor every step El takes in the entertainment and financial world. She wants to ensure that El remains focused on his education and is not tempted to pursue excessive popularity.   "If El's price is for me, if El's price is outside the market, it's his mom who makes the price list," Jessica said.
