Dangdut
A thrilling new challenge awaits the talented young presenter, Jirayut. Widely known as one of the iconic faces of the D'Academy stage, he is now trusted to be one of the main hosts in Indosiar's latest talent search program, BAND ACADEMY.
This step is a big leap for Jirayut, taking him out of the comfort zone of dangdut music that has made his name. He will join a trio of senior hosts whose abilities are beyond doubt, namely Ramzi, Rina Nose, and Gilang Dirga.
When met, this artist from Thailand could not hide his excitement and nervousness. He admitted to being very enthusiastic because he will meet new worlds and new people, especially rock and pop musicians.
"I am really excited because this is something new for me. I will encounter new things again. Usually, I host at dangdut events," said Jirayut when met at SCTV Tower, Senayan area, Central Jakarta, Thursday (2/4/2026).
Jirayut realizes that being a host at a band music event will be very different. He has also started thinking about how to adapt and bring his own color amidst the cool musicians he will meet later.
"Especially meeting cool musicians, what should I do later? The point is, I can't wait because this is a challenge for me," he added with his characteristic smile.
Jirayut's presence at BAND ACADEMY aligns with Indosiar's vision to create cross-genre collaborations. Not only Jirayut, stars from D'Academy like Afan and Valen DA7 are also involved to sing the theme song of this event.
Harsiwi Achmad, as the Director of EMTEK Media, explained that the involvement of these dangdut talents aims to prove that Indosiar's students are versatile artists with a solid fan base.
Now, the public is made curious. How will Jirayut perform when facing the band kids from all over Indonesia? His energetic stage action and innocent remarks are sure to be a unique refreshing spice on the BAND ACADEMY stage.
