Jirayut Realizes His Long-held Dream Through His Volleyball Team

The presenter and dangdut singer Jirayut has apparently harbored an unfulfilled dream. Behind his cheerful persona on screen, this man from Thailand reveals his deep love for the world of sports, especially volleyball.

His love for sports is not just a hobby for fun, but also a way to maintain physical health. For him, sports have a deeper meaning.

"Eh, what is it? Because of love, well, it’s called love. And sports are not just for fun, they are also for health. That’s why, I really love sports," he said when met in the area of Jalan Warung Jati Barat, South Jakarta, on Tuesday (18/11/2025).

More than that, this physical activity has become a way for the 24-year-old man to refresh his mind and relieve stress. He refers to sports as the most effective form of healing for himself.

"While for others, healing might be through vacations, going to the mall. For me, my healing is volleyball, sports like that. So, yeah, that's what makes me feel refreshed," he explained.

His love for this does not stop on the court. Jirayut even formed a volleyball team called J Team. This team serves as a platform for him to channel his hobby while also supporting young talents.

"That's right. This is a team, not a club, a team that I created in Indonesia, and thank God, it has already entered its second year," Jirayut revealed.

Behind the formation of the team, there is a big dream that he has yet to achieve. Since he was still in Thailand, Jirayut aspired to become a professional volleyball player, but fate led him to the entertainment world.

Even so, he does not want his dream to be buried just like that. After feeling he has enough fortune, he decided to realize his ambition through the talents of young Indonesians whom he supports through his team.

"How do I keep going even though I can no longer be an athlete, but through the children of Indonesia, through the kids who have volleyball talent, I channel my hobby through them, so they can realize my dream. Like that," he concluded.
