"So in episode 290-something, there's a character named Fajar, it tells the story of a widower who already has a wife but divorced. It tells the story of a woman, his ex-wife named Cornelia or Koko but it's not revealed," said Rangga Azof in a recent virtual press conference.

Meanwhile, Haico plays the character Cornelia or Lia. A strong woman.

"While I was here, Cornelia didn't want to reveal her true identity, so she changed her name to Lia because she didn't want people to know about her past. She also didn't want to remember her past," said Haico.

Returning to the soap opera and playing the same character is a challenge for Rangga Azof and Haico. They both try their best to differentiate the characters in the soap opera BUKU HARIAN SEORANG ISTRI from SAMUDRA CINTA.

"The challenge is how to differentiate SAMUDRA CINTA and Fajar, and also Cornelia. We have to find a way to differentiate them, like their mannerisms," said Rangga Azof.

Of course, it is not easy for Rangga Azof and Haico to differentiate their characters in BUKU HARIAN SEORANG ISTRI. Considering that the characters of Rangga Azof and Haico have already become dear to the loyal viewers of SCTV when they were still part of SAMUDRA CINTA.

"But it's a bit difficult because the story is almost similar and the execution is almost similar, so people think it feels like SAMUDRA CINTA too," said Rangga Azof.
