Jonathan Frizzy and Dhena Devanka Agree to Make Peace, South Jakarta Police Investigators Stop the Case

Kapanlagi.com - A couple who are going through the process of divorce, Jonathan Frizzy alias Ijonk and his wife, Dhena Devanka, have agreed to reconcile regarding allegations of Domestic Violence. Not only that, Ijonk and Dhena have also withdrawn their reports at the Police station.

"Regarding the case reported by the husband and wife, I inform you that our investigation team has stopped the case and we are taking mediation efforts with the parties involved," said Kompol Achmad Akbar at the South Jakarta Police station, Friday (22/10/2021).

Since they have agreed to reconcile and also withdrawn their reports, the police have ended the process of Ijonk and Dhena's case. Kompol Achmad Akbar stated that the investigators at the South Jakarta Metropolitan Police have stopped the process of the case involving the couple who have three children.

"So, in this context, we can mention it as an effort of restorative justice where both parties have declared reconciliation, and the investigation team has adjusted by stopping the investigation process," he said.

1. Agreement of Both Parties

Ijonk and Dhena have agreed to reconcile since Saturday (9/10/2021). So, what agreement was reached between Ijonk and Dhena until they finally reconciled in the domestic violence case?

"Formally, we handled two cases from both couples, so it can be said that they reported each other. Of course, the investigators took steps in accordance with the mechanisms and proceeded in a balanced manner," he said.

"Then, in its development, it turned out that there was mediation between the two parties outside the context of the investigator's examination. We didn't reach that matter, but if there is, it must have gone through an agreement between the two parties. What has been conveyed to the investigative team, we accommodate," he concluded.
