Junior Roberts and Hanggini Selected to Star in the Film Adaptation of Wattpad Bestseller 'GEEZ & ANN'

Kapanlagi.com - The popular novel by Rintik Sedu on the Wattpad writing platform titled GEEZ & ANN is being adapted for the big screen by MVP Pictures production house. This romance drama is directed by Rizki Balki.

After being kept secret for quite some time, the actors who will portray Geez and Ann are finally announced. Geez is played by Junior Roberts, while Ann's character is entrusted to Hanggini.

1. Many Candidates

Both Junior Roberts and Hanggini are happy about their involvement in the film GEEZ & ANN. It is clear that many names were vying to join this production.

"When I was first informed that I was chosen, I was surprised and happy because there were many candidates for this role. I know there were many," said Hanggini during a press conference at the Multivision office in Kuningan, South Jakarta, on Friday (17/1/2020).

"We are happy and proud to be chosen. That's why we are trying to embody these characters," added Junior.

2. Penetrating Into Characters

Considering the success of the novel and the characters Geez and Ann in capturing the hearts of the public, Junior and Hanggini carry their own burdens. However, they turn that burden into motivation to bring their entrusted roles to life.

"And we have to make the audience believe that we are Geez and Ann. Because this is from a book, readers must already have their own imagination. So, how do we penetrate into those characters?" Hanggini said.

In addition to Junior and Hanggini, this film, which is planned to be released in mid-2020, is also enlivened by Shenina Cinnamon, Amel Carla, Kezia Altheia, Devina Karamoy, and Ashira Zamita.
