Kaka Slank Together with His Child and Wife Cast Their Votes in the Jakarta 2024 Regional Election

Musician Kaka Slank exercised his voting rights in the Jakarta 2024 Regional Election. Together with his wife, Natascha Oking, and his daughter, Siti Alaula Satriaji, Kaka visited polling station 016 located in the Duren Tiga area, South Jakarta.

According to Kaka, regional elections always have a more festive atmosphere compared to other elections. "In regional elections, it's even livelier because every region has its own champion. There are various positions like regents and governors. It's more vibrant," said Kaka in the Kalibata area, South Jakarta, Wednesday (27/11/2024).

When asked about his choice, Kaka chose to keep it a secret. However, he admitted that he intentionally wanted to get to know the candidates for leadership this time better.

I did this intentionally this time, because I just want to know. As for thinking about how it works, I don't really care. I want to know the profiles of these 3 candidates," he said.

As a citizen of Jakarta, Kaka has a clear view of what this city needs. According to him, everything Jakarta needs is clear and has become a national spotlight.

"Actually, if you take care of Jakarta, the needs are already clear because this is the capital and all eyes are on it. There's no need to feel around, what needs to be done is already clear. Those who run for leadership in Jakarta should already know the strategy, what is needed," Kaka explained.

He also highlighted the importance of policies that can manage urbanization effectively. "Yes, Jakarta actually attracts people from the regions to come to Jakarta," he said.

"And you have to be aware, just be aware that everyone will head to Jakarta to seek their fortune, so the policies must be like what to face the migration of people from the regions to the city, that's one of them," concluded Kaka.
