Kapok, Praz Teguh Chooses to Pay for Umrah Himself After the Hanania Case

The alleged umrah travel fraud case involving Hanania Group has triggered deep disappointment for comedian Praz Teguh. Although he had already departed, Praz was very shocked and did not expect that the travel agent he trusted was actually facing legal issues.

Praz revealed that before deciding to collaborate, he had conducted a background check on the agency. The result at that time showed that Hanania Group appeared clean and very trustworthy in serving pilgrims.

"Actually, why did we choose, initially it was very trustworthy, I saw it was very trustworthy, there were no legal issues, no legal defects, it was checked too.Then it turns out there was an incident like this. If I had known there wasan incident like this, I wouldn't have chosen it," said Praz Teguh whenmet at the Ditreskrimum Polda Metro Jaya, Thursday (11/06/2026).

Praz's disappointment peaked as he expressed his disgust towards the situation that occurred. He felt deceived by the outward appearance of the travel agent, which previously seemed very professional.

"It's not surprising anymore, guys. How could this happen? But I have to be wise here. So actually, yes, I was very surprised. I really didn't expect it could turn out like this," Praz said.

Praz also felt confused about the fate of the promotional content he had created for the agency. He was worried that the content could still be misinterpreted even though the case had now entered the legal realm.

"Wow, I was also thinking about that earlier when I was up there, I was asked how many times I shared and everything. I was thinking earlier should I delete it or what? But, well, we’ll think about it again, we don’t know," he said.

In the future, Praz admitted that he would be much more cautious in accepting collaboration offers, especially those related to worship. He intends to prefer paying in full independently without any discounts or endorsements.

"Sure, sure, be careful with the umrah travel cooperation if I can, my intention is, honestly, if tomorrow there is more fortune, well, I'll just pay for it myself, that's it, just pay for it myself. No need for endorsements," concluded Praz Teguh.
