Kartika Putri Hopes Richard Lee Will Soon Be Arrested and His Case Will Be Tried

The defamation case reported by Kartika Putri against Richard Lee at the Jakarta Metro Police is still ongoing. In fact, Richard Lee was also arrested by the police for the illegal access case, but his request for postponement of detention was granted.

Therefore, Kartika Putri hopes that Richard Lee, who is involved in two cases at once, namely defamation and illegal access, can be arrested again. Moreover, recently there was also a case of illegal access reported by Sahroni against Adam Deni, and the case has already entered the trial stage.

"Yes, one of the questions that I have is, there is already a similar case reported by someone against someone for illegal access and the suspect was arrested, and it was even confirmed in less than 6 months," said Kartika Putri at the National Police Headquarters, South Jakarta, on Monday (21/3).

"(The report) has been more than a year, he has become a suspect in 2 cases and his illegal access case is a police report or type A police report, why hasn't he been arrested? That's it. Because in my case, I am already a suspect," Kartika Putri continued.

2. Hoping to Soon Enter the Courtroom

Usman bin Yahya's wife certainly hopes that the case involving Dr. Richard Lee will soon reach P21 so that it can enter the courtroom. As we know, P21 is a code form used when the investigation process of a criminal case is complete.

"Hopefully this case will find clarity and hopefully it can be referred to the prosecutor's office," she concluded.

3. Chronology of the Conflict between Kartika and Richard

As we know, Kartika Putri reported Richard Lee to the Jakarta Metropolitan Police for alleged defamation. It all started when Richard Lee made content on his YouTube account about education regarding facial cream products which, according to him, contain harmful ingredients based on laboratory tests.

One of the products he mentioned contained mercury and hydroquinone, which was previously promoted by Kartika Putri.

After becoming a suspect of defamation, Richard Lee was finally arrested, but not for the defamation case, but for illegal access. He was suspected of trying to remove evidence related to the defamation case against artist Kartika Putri.
