Kenzy feels that the allowance he receives is not enough, considering the lifestyle and needs at his school which he perceives to be higher.
"Dad gives me Rp500 thousand a week now, it's still not enough. At school, snack time can be Rp75 thousand. During the second break, lunch time is also Rp75 thousand," said Kenzy, quoting from YouTube TAULANY TV.
In response to the protest, Andre explained that the allowance given is more than enough. He emphasized the importance of learning to value money and understanding the worth of every expenditure.
"So when you come home from school, that doesn’t count as part of your allowance; if you’re hungry, eat at home," Andre explained.
This advice shows Andre's approach in educating his children to be wiser in managing finances and appreciating what they have.
"If you hold your own money, you might lose control and spend all your money," concluded Andre Taulany.
