Kapanlagi.com - Pasha Ungu expressed his pride in witnessing the career journey of his eldest son, Kiesha Alvaro, who is increasingly flourishing in the entertainment world. He mentioned that his son is going through the process patiently and continues to show positive developments over time.
"His career is also very patient, slowly but surely, I understand the process of his career very well, and thank God, until today I have not heard any negative comments about his work ethic," said Pasha Ungu when met in the Senayan area on Wednesday (5/8/2026).
Pasha mentioned that he often asks the director directly about Kiesha's attitude and work ethic on set. The responses he receives are consistent and make him even more confident in his son's career choice.
"Yes, it's similar, the name is similar because his father's name is similar. I asked the director on set about everything, ‘Wow, Kiesha is very disciplined, really fun kid, very humble.’ Yes, he really is just like that, you know," he said.
The answers he hears from the directors make Pasha increasingly proud as a father. He believes that this work character aligns with the family's expectations.
The repeated praise from the production team serves as reinforcement for him to continue supporting Kiesha's professional journey.
Pasha stated that he closely follows Kiesha's career process from the beginning. According to him, his son is not in a hurry and chooses to step through each stage of work gradually.
He reiterates that patience is key in Kiesha Alvaro's journey in the entertainment industry, alongside his dedication to his responsibilities in the projects he works on.
Pasha is also grateful that so far he has not heard any negative news regarding his son's work ethic, in line with his experience of monitoring closely.
Amidst the busy shooting schedule, Pasha's time with Kiesha is now more limited. However, Pasha understands the situation because he too has gone through a similar phase when he was very busy with Ungu.
"Because I see that Kiesha's shooting is almost every day and for weeks. When he has a day or two off, it's not possible for me to force him or disturb him to hang out with me; he must be tired," Pasha explained.
Pasha chooses to give space for rest when his son has a break of 1-2 days. He believes that energy recovery is important amidst the intense work rhythm on the shooting set.
As a parent, Pasha hopes Kiesha is always well-received in his work environment. He wants his son to maintain humility and build healthy relationships with those around him.
"Because we want our child to be accepted by people wherever he is, to be loved by people, and to be looked after by people," he concluded.
Pasha added that family support will always accompany Kiesha Alvaro's steps as long as he consistently maintains discipline and behavior at work.
