"In the first trimester, it's pretty normal, like the usual nausea, vomiting, then sadness, just feeling sad all the time. Basically, even little things make me cry, just crying like that," said Irish Bella when met in the Senen area, Central Jakarta, on Friday (14/8/2026).

Haldy Sabri confirmed that his wife became much more sensitive during the first trimester, which he attributed to hormonal changes. This condition coincided with physical complaints such as nausea and vomiting.
"More sensitive. That's why you keep getting scolded by me, right?" said Irish.
Irish did not deny that in the early stages of pregnancy, her husband often became the target of her anger. She expressed this as part of the emotional changes she was experiencing.

Apart from emotional issues, Irish also regularly monitors the condition of the fetus independently at home. She uses a doppler device that she bought herself to listen to the baby's heartbeat periodically.
"Yesterday, after getting pregnant, I bought that doppler device to listen to the baby's heartbeat. So later every few days, I check the heartbeat like that," explained Irish.
It was not Irish who had cravings, but Haldy. He admitted that he often asked for instant noodles at night, claiming it was a craving.
"Yeah, sometimes instant noodles at night are called cravings. I don't know if that's just an excuse or what, I also don't know," said Haldy, laughing.
