1. Arriving in the Morning at the Parliament Complex

Based on observations at the location, Ahmad Dhani arrived at the Parliament Complex around 08:32 WIB. He came just before the morning agenda of the Annual Session of the MPR RI 2026 began.

Upon entering the area, Dhani walked quickly towards the plenary meeting room. He was seen still adjusting his suit as he walked towards the Nusantara II Building.

The moment of his arrival, which seemed "last minute," was highlighted by several media outlets. This session itself is one of the important agendas in the series of events commemorating the 81st Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Indonesia.

2. Ahmad Dhani's Hopes for Prabowo's Speech

As the state speech session approached, Ahmad Dhani expressed his hope that the atmosphere of the speech would be as vibrant as the previous year. He made this statement just before entering the session room in the Nusantara II Building.

He added his hope that President Prabowo's speech could inspire and move the wider community, as he felt happened last year.

His presence at this state session also underscores his activity in the political realm as a member of Commission X of the DPR RI from the Gerindra faction, in addition to being widely known as a musician.

3. Highlight the Implementation of Article 33 of the 1945 Constitution

Beyond the spirit of the speech, Ahmad Dhani emphasized the need for attention to the implementation of Article 33 of the 1945 Constitution. He stated that the principles within it are important to be consistently applied.

Article 33 of the 1945 Constitution regulates the national economic system based on the principles of kinship and economic democracy, and places state control over important branches of production for the prosperity of the people.

According to him, the principles in this article must continue to be upheld as the foundation for national development moving forward.

4. Series of the 2026 Annual MPR Session Agenda

The Annual Session of the MPR RI and the Joint Session of the DPR–DPD RI 2026 took place from 08:30 AM to 10:48 AM WIB. A number of state agendas were carried out throughout the day at the Parliament Complex.

President Prabowo Subianto is scheduled to deliver two speeches. The first speech will take place during the Annual Session of the MPR RI, containing a performance report of state institutions as well as a state speech in commemoration of the 81st Anniversary of Indonesian Independence.

In the afternoon, the second speech will be delivered in the Plenary Meeting of the DPR RI with the agenda of presenting the Draft State Budget (RAPBN) 2027 along with the financial notes. Ahmad Dhani's presence adds to the list of public figures attending the event.
