In this MDTV production series, Kiki is cast to play the character Pak Santoso, a father with two children named Firza and Topan. This role requires him to adapt to a work rhythm that is very different from the feature film productions he usually undertakes.

Kiki admits that the world of soap operas, or what is now often referred to as stripping series, is something completely foreign to him. He feels like a new student who has to learn from scratch, even though his experience in the acting world is already very high.

"If they say stripping series now, I have never done it. So I think this is also a step for me. I am learning a lot here, gaining so much knowledge from all of them," he continued.

The difference in work mechanisms between film and soap operas is felt to be very significant by this middle-aged actor. He does not compare which is better, but realizes that both are worlds with completely different ecosystems.

"You really can’t compare film with electronic cinema. Because it’s completely a different world," Kiki explained.

THE FAMILY THAT IS NOT MISSED tells the story of Santoso (Kiki Narendra) who suffers an accident and can no longer work. His three children, Firzha (Miqdad Addausy), Thoriq (Arbani Yasiz), and Zahra (Nabila Zavira), are caught in a conflict of emotions and finances to care for their father. This series will soon air on MDTV and can be watched through the MD Now app.

Despite being experienced, Kiki does not deny feeling nervous when he first stepped onto the shooting location for the fast-paced production. The sensation of starting something from scratch brings him a unique joy.

"So for me, it's really enjoyable if we can start something from scratch again. Hopefully, the results can be enjoyed. I'm nervous, Mas, yes," he concluded.
