When contacted by Kapanlagi.com via phone recently, the young girl who is fondly called Kim shared the process of making her latest single. From composing the lyrics to the enjoyable process of creating the music video.

"At first, I was just having a conversation with the producer to create the lyrics, then the whole process, including the production of the music video, was so much fun and we all enjoyed working on it. Alhamdulillah, everything went smoothly without any obstacles," said Kimberley Fransa Salim.

1. Packaged in Contemporary Style

The music video for the single 'Cute Little Savage' is packaged in a contemporary style with a blend of pop, rap, and trap music, and has received positive responses from fans and listeners. After that, Kim admitted that the packaging of his latest song was slightly inspired by his idol, Agnez Mo.

"Thank God many people appreciate my new single, and I really appreciate that. I've liked Agnes Mo since I was little, I used to watch her on TV, singing and dancing, so maybe there is a little inspiration from her," said the 13-year-old girl.

2. Experiencing Challenges

In addition, the marketing of Kim's single 'Cute Little Savage' faced some challenges due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and he had to cancel his trip to San Francisco to introduce his new song. However, the promotion of Kim's second song continued digitally.

"It went smoothly because social media helped with promoting this single, but the obstacle for Kim was not being able to promote it on the radio and other platforms," he said.

"Kim was supposed to go to San Francisco this April, but due to the circumstances, it wasn't possible, so the promotion was only done digitally and through social media," he concluded.
