Mytha Lestari Writes a Song for Vocal Group Trisouls

Kapanlagi.com - Vocal group Trisouls has released a new single titled Hargai Hatiku (Value My Heart). In this single, the vocal group consisting of Damien, Jesse, and Yerry collaborated with Rahmania Astrini as a featuring artist. This song is also part of their upcoming debut album, Serenada.

The song Hargai Hatiku was written by Mytha Lestari and tells the story of how we can value the feeling of love. It delves deeper into the fact that every relationship will inevitably encounter obstacles, and how we can overcome those obstacles together and try to better understand each other's feelings.

"At that time, Trisouls was in the studio and we were doing a workshop. After a while, when Damien and Yerry went home, I chatted with Mytha. Not long after that, we started writing musical notations which were later complemented with lyrics, and it turned out to be a very satisfying song," said Jesse on Monday (13/4/2020).

1. Not the First Time Collaborating

In terms of music, the song Hargai Hatiku was directly produced by Irwan "Opung" Simanjuntak, who is known for his work with Glenn Fredly, Afgan, Hanin Dhiya, Rahmania Astrini, and many more.

"Actually, this is not the first time we have worked together, because Astri was the star of our music video. But it seems like it's finally time for us to duet, because from the beginning we have often sung together, performed, made covers, and we have a very good chemistry," said Damien.

"I always enjoy working with Trisouls. In a way, I consider them as my own siblings. Of course, I am very happy to be able to sing together in a beautiful song with my own siblings. It's very easy for me to click with them, they are fun and supportive people," continued Rahmania Astrini.

2. Involve Vocal Director

In addition, in the process of composing the song Hargai Hatiku, Trisouls involved the vocal director, namely Bowo Soulmate. Certainly, providing extraordinary ideas for Trisouls members themselves, especially regarding vocals.

"During the recording, we once again worked with Mr. Bowo Soulmate as the vocal director, who provided extraordinary ideas to maximize our four vocals and became a challenge for us," Yerry concluded.
