Recently, Kimberly Ryder has been entering a new chapter in her life as a single mother. After separating from Edward Akbar, she now bears the responsibility of raising her two children alone.
However, she emphasizes that the financial matters for the children are still a shared responsibility. The woman born on July 22, 1993, is grateful that her ex-husband continues to fulfill his obligations according to the established agreement.

"If it comes from him, thank God there is still support, yes, every month there is still something. According to the judge's decision, thank God. Let's just be grateful, shall we," Kimberly said in the Cilandak Barat area, South Jakarta, not long ago.
Behind her gratitude, Kimberly does not deny that there are significant challenges she must face, especially on an emotional level. She admits that taking on the role of a single parent requires extraordinary energy every day.
When asked to elaborate on her feelings, Kimberly provided an answer that implied how heavy the struggle is. With a bitter smile, she feels that her difficulties can be understood without needing much explanation.
"You don't have to, you don't have to answer that. You already know," said Kimberly.
One of the biggest challenges she faces is providing understanding to her two young children. The mother of Aisyah and Rayden revealed that her children often search for and ask about their father's whereabouts.
According to her, the questions from her children become quite heavy moments to face. She also explained that communication between the children and Edward Akbar is now more often established through video calls.
"Still, they still ask for sure. They still ask. And now they sometimes like to video call their dad," explained Kimberly.
