Kapanlagi.com - Actress Kimberly Ryder shared her story about her life after officially divorcing Edward Akbar on Friday (29/11/2024). This mother of two revealed that she is now receiving many job offers in the entertainment industry.
"I don’t really know. The important thing is we have good intentions, in our hearts we intend that everything is for the children," Kimberly said in the BSD area, Tangerang, on Saturday (30/11/2024).
Kimberly added that the key to facing this situation is to be grateful and take the positive side from every event. When asked if her career revival is a proof to her ex-husband, Kimberly was reluctant to comment much. "It depends on how he sees it," she said briefly.
For her, this is the initial phase to restart her career after taking a break to focus on family. Kimberly admitted that she felt a sense of affection when leaving the entertainment world after getting married.

However, the decision was made to fulfill Edward's desire to be closer to their children. Kimberly feels that the decision has borne fruit, as her relationship with her children is now very close.
"He wants to be closer to the children. We shouldn't let them miss their golden age, because they really need their mother," explained Kimberly.
"All this time, my career has been set aside so that I could be close to the children, and thank God they are close to me now," she continued with gratitude.

Kimberly also revealed how her children always show concern when she has to work. "Even when I work, they always ask, where are you going? They miss me," she said with a smile.
Returning to the entertainment world after a long hiatus is certainly not easy. However, Kimberly emphasizes that she chooses to remain positive and take everything slowly.
"There are still many jobs coming in, slowly but surely. Although there are ups and downs, Insya Allah, there will still be many projects that want me in the future," she said hopefully.
