Kirana Larasati Achieves MURI Record After Diving at a Depth of 127.8 Meters

The beautiful actress Kirana Larasati has just made a proud achievement outside the entertainment world. Not through acting, this time Kirana officially received an award from the Indonesian World Record Museum (MURI) as the first woman to perform technical diving at a depth of 127 meters.

This extraordinary achievement was accomplished by Kirana in the waters of Tulamben, Bali. Although she had previously reached a similar depth in Malaysia, Kirana admitted that she still felt tense when she had to perform the action in her home country to record her name in the history of Indonesian records.

The pride cannot be hidden from the face of the star of the film Purple Love. She admitted feeling relieved because the initial target set was actually only at 125 meters, but the conditions on the ground allowed her to go a little deeper.

"Thank you. On the day itself, I felt quite relieved, because even though I had trained during the preparations, during several dives, I still felt nervous on the actual day. Because there are so many variables that could go wrong, and the risks are indeed high," said Kirana Larasati when met in the Kebayoran Baru area, South Jakarta, on Friday (6/3/2026).

Kirana explains that her success is the result of her persistence in pushing her own limits. For her, returning safely to the surface is the true victory alongside breaking the depth record.

"And when it was over, I felt an immense relief. I knew that I could achieve the MURI record, a record in Indonesia, because my actual target was 125 meters, but it turns out I could push a little further to 127.8 meters. So, I felt relieved, happy, and of course proud to be able to return safely and set a record," she stated.
