Kirana Larasati Often Rejects Shooting for Diving, Reveals She Was Once Stressed Because of This

"There are also many questions 'why rarely seen on screen', this question comes from both doorstop and the internet. Because of my love for it," said Kirana Larasati when met in the Kebayoran Baru area, South Jakarta, Friday (3/6/2026).

Kirana's struggle in the diving world was not taken lightly. To obtain a license as an instructor, she had to undergo a very strict learning process, which drastically increased her stress levels.

"At that time, it wasn't easy for me to become an instructor. I took the Instructor Development Course, I came every day to learn theory, and then honed my skills to become better. At that time, it was quite stressful, and I even had a few pimples on my face because of it, but I managed to get through it well and achieved the instructor level," she explained.

For Kirana, the world of diving provides endless learning satisfaction. She admits to being the type of person who loves acquiring new knowledge, and the technical challenges in diving fulfill that need.

"In the world of diving, education never ends. I am originally someone who really loves to learn and really enjoys, how should I put it, going to school. In the diving world, this learning never finishes. You can take another level, you can take another course in a different field. That's why I never stop taking new courses," said Kirana.

It is known that the last feature film starred by Kirana Larasati is '48 Hours for Indah' which was released in 2022. Meanwhile, the last soap opera Kirana starred in was 'Hafizah' in 2018.

As information, Kirana Larasati also ventured into politics by becoming a candidate for the DPR-RI from a party in the 2019 election. However, she was not elected and did not become a legislative member.
