Knowing Each Other for 27 Years, Vincent Rompies Only Recently Admits Desta as His Best Friend

Kapanlagi.com - Vincent Rompies and Desta have always been known as individuals who seem inseparable. Their closeness has even been said to have been formed for approximately 27 years. However, recently it was revealed that Vincent has just admitted his friendship with Desta.

In an interview video uploaded by Soleh Solihun on his YouTube channel, last Monday (2/1), Vincent opened up about his past and his friendship with Desta.

Vincent mentioned that he only truly acknowledged Desta as his friend in the past few months. "After 27 years, I only got close, meaning I only shared things (about myself) in the past few months," he said.

1. Just Knowing Each Other

Vincent revealed that he and Desta have only known and understood each other even though they have been close for quite a long time. "All this time, it's like I know how you are, you know how I am, just enough to know each other," he said.

However, that doesn't mean Vincent and Desta don't have a close relationship. The difference is, now they can discuss personal matters from the heart. "We've been close all along, but we can only talk heart-to-heart (recently)," he added.

When asked about the reason he can now be more open, Vincent likened himself to a bottle that is already full. "Because I can't stand it anymore, there comes a time when the bottle overflows when it's constantly filled," said the father of three children.

2. Never Had a Best Friend

Behind the cheerful and friendly impression that Vincent always shows, he is actually an introverted person. Even during his school days, he admitted that he never had a close friend.

"I always made friends with my seniors. I rarely made friends with my classmates, always with those who were a year or two above me. I rarely had friends, in fact, I don't have a best friend," Vincent explained.
