Totality! Pevita Pearce Asks for Longer Physical and Self-Defense Preparation to Become Sri Asih

Kapanlagi.com - SRI ASIH was initially prepared as the second film in the Bumilangit Cinematic Universe franchise. However, as time went on, it turned out that VIRGO AND THE SPARKLINGS starring Adhisty Zara will be released first.

Bismarka Kurniawan, the producer of Bumilangit Studios, revealed the reason why the SRI ASIH project was delayed. Apparently, the scriptwriting process required more time.

"The script for the character Sri Asih was not only written by Upi, but also by Joko Anwar. It took a long time because of research, character development, and the fact that more characters will appear in SRI ASIH compared to GUNDALA," said Bismarka when met at Plaza Senayan, Central Jakarta, last Saturday (1/2/2020).

Pevita Pearce was chosen to play the character of the hero Sri Asih. For this project, she didn't want to do things halfway, as evidenced by her physical and martial arts training since December 2018.

"Pevita asked for a longer preparation. Because there are stages to prepare for becoming Sri Asih. Not only stamina and fighting techniques, but also safety during filming. This year alone, she has started training for the choreography in the film," leaked Bismarka.

SRI ASIH, created by Upi, will begin the shooting process after VIRGO AND THE SPARKLING. Its release is planned for 2021, before SI BUTA DARI GUA HANTU and GODAM & TIRA, which will also be released in the same year.
