Known for His Uniqueness, Raditya Dika Introduces Podcast 'Yono Series'

Through those writings, Radit eventually published a book titled KAMBING JANTAN: SEBUAH CATATAN HARIAN PELAJAR BODOH which tells the story of his life as a student at the University of Adelaide, Australia. Radit is also one of the founders of the Stand Up Comedy Indonesia community along with Ernest Prakasa, Pandji Pragiwaksono, and several other comedians. At the beginning of his career as a stand-up comedian, the material he presented was very imaginative and absurd. However, this was very much liked by the audience, which made his name increasingly recognized in stand-up comedy. Raditya Dika's creativity can be seen through his works, one of which is the Youtube content he presents.

Recently, Radit invited one of the comedians Yono Bakrie as a guest in his video podcast. Not just once, Yono has been invited several times with a unique and very creative podcast concept. The audience refers to it as the 'Yono Series' podcast. Yono is indeed known for his comedy and witty remarks that are hilarious and engaging to listen to.

1. Organic Concepts That Many People Imitate

Creativity and the ability to read opportunities have made Radit a role model for many through his works. Many Indonesian comedians are interested in doing stand-up comedy after watching the videos that Radit shares. Radit also became one of the first YouTubers to actively share his activities and opinions through videos on that platform and gained a large audience. After succeeding as a YouTuber, Radit created a podcast that features conversations with different guests in each episode.

The job that seems easy and enjoyable has led many people to start making videos and becoming content creators on YouTube. The surge of viral videos created by YouTubers caused Radit to take a temporary break and focus on his podcast on a music streaming app with an exclusive contract. In the end, Radit returned by creating a podcast on YouTube, but it was still presented in line with Radit's simple and straightforward personality.

2. Yono Series Podcast

The Yono Series Podcast has been airing for 5 consecutive months since November, starting with the first video titled The Shortest Podcast in the World. This 35-second podcast only contains Radit's desire to create the shortest podcast, which received disbelief from Yono and garnered 2.2 million views. After the shortest podcast, Radit created The Longest Podcast in the World with a duration of 24 hours, which includes Yono's clarification about not selling Radit's guitar and other interesting conversations. They didn't actually talk for 24 hours; the conversation between them lasted only 26 minutes and 9 seconds, followed by a looping video of their iconic conversation. This longest podcast video received 2 million views at the time of this writing.

Last February, Radit returned to podcasting with Yono, but with a blurred video. This was because Radit felt a concern to create a podcast that could be listened to and watched without worrying about the camera position. This 31-minute podcast was still filled with conversations while the video remained blurred until the end. This unique concept video with Yono led Radit to ask his followers on social media what fun things could be created together with Yono. Finally, on March 10, Radit made The Most Yono Podcast in the World, inviting 8 people named Yono.

3. Radit's Fan Response

This podcast, the Yono Series, went viral due to its very unique concept. Radit and the team received a lot of praise for their ability to continuously create funny and entertaining works. Even though they have often been invited as guests, the topics discussed never run out and are always interesting to watch. The questions posed by Radit are also engaging, complemented by Yono's funny demeanor and quips.
