Known Since High School, Virnie Ismail Remembers Rony Dozer's Figure: He was a Cheerful Person

The actor, who was known for his role in the show Extravaganza, took his last breath on Thursday (11/11/2021) at the age of 46 due to a heart attack.

Rony's sudden departure left a deep sorrow for his wife, Dina. This was revealed by artist Virnie Ismail, a friend and also a neighbor of the late Rony.

"His wife is definitely still shocked," said Virnie Ismail when contacted on Friday (12/11/2021).

As an old friend, Virnie admitted to being deeply saddened by the news of Rony Dozer's death. As a friend who has known him since high school, Virnie reminisces about the kindness of Rony's character during his lifetime.

"I've known Rony since '97, since the shooting days in Bandung. I've met Rony since high school. We're also neighbors, we both bought houses here. Rony was a cheerful person, never showing his illness, but his diabetes had been long-standing. Because of his eating habits from the past. Yesterday, his wife also told me that he had been eating Padang rice for the past three days," said Virnie Ismail.

Before passing away, recently Rony has been living alone for some time. Even when he was sick before passing away, he was not accompanied by any relatives.

This was revealed by Rency Milano, a soap opera artist who is also Rony's friend. Before Rony passed away, Rency had a conversation with him over the phone and revealed that his condition was not good and he was struggling.

"So who takes care of him? 'No one takes care of him, just the neighbors'. That's what he said," said Rency when contacted by phone on Thursday (11/11) night.
