Kapanlagi.com - Instagram celebrity Regita Cisillia Maharani passed away after her car was hit by a train at the crossing in Kampung Baru, Bandar Lampung, on Friday afternoon, August 30, 2024. Regita was driving a red car with a man suspected to be her brother.
Severely injured, Regita was treated at the Advent Hospital in Bandar Lampung. She was admitted to the ICU for intensive care. However, God's plan was different. The woman, affectionately known as Rere, passed away on Saturday, August 31, 2024.
"Innalilahi wa innailaihi rojiun. Our family, friend, sister, Regita Cisillia Maharani Binti Ahmad Nadhiron has passed away," wrote one of the victim's relatives in an IG Story post on Saturday (31/8/2024).

An eyewitness named Margiono (47) who was near the scene said that the victim's car, Regita Cicilia, attempted to cross the railroad tracks that had already sounded the siren and the barrier was starting to close.
"Then a passenger train came from the direction of Baturaja, South Sumatra heading to Tanjung Karang, Bandar Lampung which immediately collided with the car," said Margiono, quoted by KapanLagi.com on Saturday (31/8/2024) via tvonenews.

Rere is a popular social media influencer from Lampung. She has around 300 thousand followers on her TikTok account and about 20 thousand on her Instagram account. From her friend's post, it is known that Rere bought the car about a year ago from her earnings as a social media influencer.
In fact, the city car was the vehicle Rere was driving at the end of its life. The car was allegedly dragged by the train that hit it for dozens of meters, while Rere was trapped inside.
