Late Yopie Latul's Son Suspects His Father Contracted Covid-19 After Attending an Event at a Hotel in the Bogor Area

Kapanlagi.com - The body of Yopie Latul was buried today at Tanah Kusir Cemetery, South Jakarta, on Thursday (10/9) noon. It is known that Yopie passed away due to being infected with the corona virus or Covid-19 with asymptomatic diagnosis (OTG).

After the burial process, Yopie Latul's eldest son, Carllo Satryo, confirmed the illness suffered by his father. He also explained that the suspected exposure occurred after his father attended an event at a hotel in Bogor.

"He did indeed test positive for the coronavirus yesterday. Initially, he was taken to RSUD and then transferred to Sentra Medika Hospital, Cibinong," said Carllo.

"We don't know who he met at the event. We don't know who got sick or who was infected, we don't know," he continued.

1. Immunological Condition Not Fit

Carlo also conveyed that perhaps during the event at the hotel, the immunological condition of the singer of the song Poco-Poco was indeed not fit. However, Carlo emphasized that throughout his life, his father never had any history of illness.

"Coincidentally, maybe my father's immune system was low and he was also exposed, I don't know from where. Actually, he didn't have any congenital diseases like heart disease or diabetes. Because he regularly checked or controlled his body," he concluded.

2. Passed Away at the Age of 65

Yopie Latul passed away at the age of 65 on Wednesday (9/9). He took his last breath at Sentra Medika Cibinong Hospital, West Java, and was declared positive for Covid-19.
