Senior Actor Piet Pagau Declared Positive for Covid-19, Currently Undergoing Quarantine

When asked for clarification, Ade Nurul as the Manager of PARFI (Indonesian Film Artists Association) confirmed the matter. As it is known, Piet has been the Chairman of PARFI since the end of 2019.

"Yes, we already know from the PARFI Headquarters," said Ade when contacted on Monday (7/9/2020).

Ade Nurul himself received the information directly from Piet Pagau. The 69-year-old actor is known to have sent an official letter and talked about his condition.

"There is a letter from Piet Pagau. Yes (positive for Covid-19)," Ade continued.

Meanwhile, a film journalist named Yan Widjaya provided more detailed information through a tweet on his Twitter account. According to him, the film actor BIDADARI-BIDADARI SURGA is currently undergoing quarantine in one of the Covid-19 referral hospitals.

"Senior actor of Dayak descent, Piet Pagau (70), has tested positive for Covid-19. It is known that during the SWAB test before the preparation of the film #PenghuniAkhirat on 30/8. Starting from Friday (4/9), he has been quarantined at RS Hermina Galaxy Bekasi. Hopefully, he will recover quickly and resume activities after 14 days," wrote Yan Widjaya in his tweet.
