Although she enjoys the Lebaran dishes, Kimberly admits she does not participate in cooking. She prefers to leave the kitchen duties to her mother and her house assistant who has become like family.

"If the buras is bought, the rest is cooked. I have a maid who has been part of the family for a long time, who comes to the house every year before Lebaran to cook," she said.

Besides traditional food, another tradition that is always practiced is giving angpau to the little children and cousins who come to visit the house.

"There is, mostly for the cousins or people who come to the house. The younger ones, the smaller ones, are usually already prepared," she added.

Regarding Eid clothes, Kimberly chose not to buy new clothes this year. According to her, there is no need to force oneself to buy new clothes if the old ones are still suitable to wear.

"Not yet, maybe I'll wear last year's clothes. No need for new clothes, 'moms shouldn't feel like they really need new clothes this year because if last year's are still good, just wear those,'" she wisely stated.
