Legal Counsel Acknowledges Atta Halilintar's Father Has Practiced Polygamy, Here's the Chronology of Their Separation

Rhaditya Putra Perdana, Halilintar's legal counsel, confirms that his client has indeed practiced polygamy. However, Halilintar's marriage to his second wife did not last long. He explained this using an illustration and claimed not to want to accuse anyone.

"Let me give you an illustration, not accusing anyone. First, a husband has a wife, has children, and is given permission by his wife to practice polygamy, so he legally has a second wife. They have children," said Rhaditya during a press conference held in the Radio Dalam area, South Jakarta, on Friday (4/9/2020).

Rhaditya revealed that the second marriage of Halilintar ended when he experienced bankruptcy. His second wife and their child left him during that difficult time.

"Later on, this husband became poor and had to live abroad at that time in a very distressing condition. His second wife left with their child and she has been married three times after this man. It's like a telenovela, let's just consider our response as an illustration," added Rhaditya.

Furthermore, Rhaditya revealed that the former second wife came back after the husband in the story rose and his business became successful. She demanded responsibility from her former husband after being married three times since their separation.

"Now that this man has risen, accompanied by his child and his first wife, the second wife is present but does not bring their child. She is also here to demand responsibility. But after being married three times," Rhaditya continued.
