Liga Dangdut Indonesia Season Four Optimistic to Discover More Talented Young People from Various Regions

Nevertheless, according to Ekin Gabriel, Senior VP PSRD, online auditions should actually make it easier for potential participants to join. Because participants from various remote areas do not have to spend extra money to travel to the audition centers in their respective provinces.

1. Sure to Bring Out Talented Talents

Like last year, one of the requirements for prospective participants is that they must be aged 14 to 25. Ekin is confident that LIDA this year will once again bring out talented young talents.

"Many young participants, it's interesting, like last year we got young participants, but we still have age restrictions, 14 to 25 years old. Well, this year I'm sure there will be many good ones," said Ekin Gabriel.

"We are optimistic that this year we will get participants within that age range, this was proven yesterday in the auditions in West Java, many were young, even some were only 14 years old," he continued.

Meanwhile, Yoni, as the Production Manager of IEP, also said that the victory of regional ambassadors in the previous Liga Dangdut Indonesia competition also encouraged prospective participants from those regions to participate. Like West Java Province, represented by Meli as the champion, making West Java the province with the most participants so far.

"Indeed, the advantage of one province winning LIDA makes the young men and women in the region more enthusiastic to show off their abilities," said Yoni.

"This was proven in the first season of LIDA when Selfi came out as the winner, then in the following year there was an explosion of enthusiasm from prospective participants from Makassar, and so on until Meli from West Java won last year. Until now, in the first audition in West Java, we have counted 330 participants, the most so far," he concluded.
