Kapanlagi.com - Meli Nuryani successfully emerged as the champion of Liga Dangdut Indonesia 2020. After her victory, the beautiful 16-year-old girl finally released her debut single titled Hikmah, composed by renowned dangdut musician Hendro Saky.

When met in the Kalibata area, South Jakarta, on Tuesday afternoon (27/10), Meli shared the story behind her first single. According to her, the song Hikmah tells the story of a couple who built a business together, but various problems arose due to differences of opinion, leading them to separate.

"This single tells the story of a man and a woman who are dating, they both plan to start a business together, and eventually they open a coffee business together. But in the midst of their business, there are often disagreements and conflicts," explained Meli LIDA.

"Because the title of the song is 'Hikmah' (Wisdom), after they separated, even though they still often meet, they don't greet each other anymore. They just pass by each other, looking at each other from a distance, and in the end, there is wisdom in that. So, there is a guy who heals the girl's heart when they meet," she continued.

1. No Love Story

Meli said that the song was purely created from the creative process of the songwriter. She also emphasized that the song has no connection to her personal life or love story.

"No, because Meli didn't know that this song would fall into her hands. Because this song should have been performed on the day of victory. None of us three have memorized it yet, so none of us know it. But since we already know who the winner is, I memorized it and coincidentally the song suits Meli's character," she said.

2. The Figure of Ryass Randa

In addition, it happens that the male model involved in the making of the music video for the song Hikmah is Ryaas Randa. However, Meli, who initially thought Randa was an arrogant person, was made happy because it turned out that the man from Bengkulu has a positive aura, is nurturing, and has the added value of being handsome and around the same age as her.

"It's the first time we worked on a project together, and I'm really happy, because he's one of my idols. I've liked Kak Randa for a long time, from his character, his voice, besides having a good voice, he's also handsome and nurturing to his younger siblings. Before, I thought Kak Randa was arrogant, but he turned out to be really kind," she concluded.
