Reported Covid 19, Reasons for Fadhli Borneo's Death Revealed by Yopa KDI

Kapanlagi.com - One of the participants of Kontes Dangdut Indonesia (KDI), Muhammad Fadhli or Fadhli Borneo, passed away on September 30, 2020. Even though this man from Kalimantan had just gotten married about a month before.

Hearing this sad news, Yopa KDI, as a close friend during and after the competition, admitted to being very surprised and shocked. He also revealed the cause of his friend's death.

"I was surprised when I saw the news, he had just gotten married and suddenly passed away. The last contact we had was about 3 to 4 months ago before he died, and I wasn't invited to the wedding because it was impromptu," said Yopa when contacted by phone on Wednesday (7/10) afternoon.

"Fadhli once mentioned having gastric acid. But as far as I know, he never complained about it. And there are many who say he died because of Covid, but I don't accept that," he continued.

To Yopa's knowledge, besides gastric acid, he once asked Fadhli's deceased wife about his illness, which turned out to be typhoid fever. However, when he asked for more details about other illnesses, he did not get an answer because he understood that Fadhli's wife might still be grieving.

"As far as I know, the deceased only mentioned having a gastric illness, and that was a long time ago. I was shocked when he said he had COVID-19. I had a DM conversation with his wife, and she said he had gastric acid and then got typhoid fever, but she only mentioned that, she didn't tell me anything else. I tried asking, but she didn't answer, maybe she's still grieving," he said.

In addition, Yopa, who claimed to have been in communication with Fadhli Borneo for the past 3 to 4 months, said that Fadhli had tried his luck in online selling. He also reiterated that until now he only knew that the late Fadhli had a history of gastric acid disease.

"As far as I know, the last thing he did was business, selling food online. Yes, I only knew about the gastric acid," he concluded.
