Ovie's departure was confirmed by Indra Bekti, the host who filled Ceriwis with Indy Barends in the past. "Yesterday around 12 o'clock, in the afternoon," said Indra when contacted by phone on Tuesday (29/9).

1. Acquainted Since 1997

For Indra Bekti, Ovie is a good person. They have been friends since 1997.

"He is a really good person, I met him in 1997 before I went to Ceriwis, I used to work at New York Cafe," explained Indra.

2. Sing Along

At that time, Indra also worked at the cafe. During their free time, Ovie often invited him to sing.

"And then from there, he was like that, he likes to say 'come here', he calls me 'little brother', we were close, let's sing if there are no guests, I'll sing," said the 42-year-old presenter.

3. Meeting at Ceriwis

Unexpectedly, several years later, Indra and Ovie met at the Ceriwis event. They became even closer.

"Finally met at Ceriwis, well, he is a very nice person, funny, and never gets angry," continued Aldilla Jelita's husband.

4. Not Charging High Prices

Besides being a singer in Simply Fresh Band, Ovie also serves as the manager. When it comes to stage fees, he never sets high prices.

"And he is the manager of Simply Fresh, so if we negotiate for a job, thank God he never sets high prices or anything like that," concluded Indra.
